Shopping
Today we were out for 12 hours (12 HOURS!!!) shopping in Harajuku and Shibuya. I bought a shirt, because you just don't go shopping in Harajuku, Japan, and not buy anything. We went down the main, grungy, trendy shopping street. The stores are crazy, there's surf shops, op shops, and mega crazy goth shops. You totally have to see it. There's these African/Jamaican guys that hang out on the street and try and get you to come down the alley to check out their shops, who we were all told to avoid. Davis got kicks out of letting them catch his attention, then making up excuses to run away.

We are back in the land of the living. Its Tuesday morning and we just got in the door. I have enjoyed reading your entries. I thought it was great hearing about Davis teasing the guys when you went shopping. I also liked hearing about the wooden building.

Dudes! I am totally jealous. It sounds like fully sick fun. I laughed so hard at work I think I started to cry when I a)read how many times Jono totally "LOVED" Japan b)Davis in those "trendy" sunnies and (the big one) c)imagining Davis running up to afro-american dudes and then running away again giggling like a girl! (I can totally see it! Something he would so do!!) And I have to say this since Im your big sister (hahaha!) but I miss you, have stacks of fun and YOU BETTER BRING ME BACK COOL/KOOKY JAPANESE/DISNEYLAND SOUVENIERS!!!!

I rang Nanny this morning to tell her how to navigate this blog and sent her the link. I see she hasn't commented yet so will ring her in the morning and see what the problem is. This web thing is very impressive Jono. Off to Disneyland tomorrow. That will be a highlight. Have lots of fun. How is the digital camera going ?

The digital camera's stuffed. Dad bought us a film camera with heaps of film, which has been working really well (and the quality of film photos still more or less beats digital) so we've been taking good photos of scenery and stuff with that, and taking all the random 'happy snaps' with my less-better quality digital camera.
